Every dragon's hoard starts with a single treasure.

Ours started with three friends.

We met during the pandemic while playing World of Warcraft in a Brazilian guild. By chance, we were the only members living outside Brazil—and even more surprisingly, we all lived in Dublin, Ireland. Before long, online raids turned into board game nights, Magic: The Gathering matches, and countless conversations about the hobbies we loved.

Somewhere between those games, one question kept coming up:

"Why isn't there a store that feels like the community we want to be part of?"

Too often, shopping online felt impersonal. Prices weren't always fair, discussions revolved around products instead of people, and it was difficult to find a place where everyone—whether they were opening their first booster pack or had been playing for decades—felt equally welcome.

So we decided to build it ourselves.

Dragon's Hoard is an online store based in Drogheda, Ireland, offering Trading Card Games, board games, tabletop RPG accessories, paints, miniatures, and hobby supplies. More importantly, we're trying to build a place where people can share recommendations, talk about the latest releases, show off painted minis, debate deck ideas, or simply enjoy chatting with others who love the same hobbies.

Today, that community lives on our Discord server. Tomorrow, we hope it grows into something even bigger: a local game store and pub where people can gather around a table, roll some dice, shuffle a deck, or start a new adventure together.

We're starting small, and we're happy to be honest about that. Our catalogue won't be the biggest on day one, and there will always be room to improve. We've intentionally kept our margins as low as we can because we'd rather grow steadily alongside our community than chase short-term profits. Every order helps us expand what we can offer and brings us one step closer to the place we dream of building.
